Crayons and Mermaid Hair, the final hours....

(Pageant besties)

There is less than 48 hours until the final, until we are twerking on stage, sorry I mean walking on stage and one lucky girl will grab that title of Ms Catwalk Perfect UK. I am a headless zombie right now trying to fit work and preparing, finishing my outfits and packing up the pot noodles to where I may get on the wrong train and end up somewhere in Scotland.

I even managed to squeeze in some last minute appearances before the sash gets packed away with the rest of the pageant sparkles and food items for the food bank! I attended the Goldsworthy Hair Shop launch with my fellow pageant queen Georgia, Mrs Galaxy Wiltshire 2016 where we got to be papped by the papers, meet and have selfies with BNTM runner up Angel as well as some hair goodies to take away with us! It was great to visit the salon who we have worked with in the past with the Miss Wiltshire finals, where a lot has changed In the last two years!

(In the Salon)

I also managed to grab a few pieces for the food banks, which is a great idea for those who struggle to afford food, can come to these food banks and come away with a package to help them through the tough times. Also, working in a gym has it's benefits, as we get lots of samples so I managed to score a whole box full of shower gel and shampoo which I am donating to the Threshold Homeless charity, with the homeless drive being planned for November :)

(Homeless goodies, tired face pending to be taken away!)

As well as packing all that stuff off, I got round to making my fellow contestants a little gift and something personal, and because I don't watch TV so I like doing creative things! I've also made a special something for our lovely director but I wont spoil the surprise ;)

(Pageant princesses!!)

So I'm now back off to teach my clients, and spin a hula hoop around me for an hour and maybe get a couple hours sleep. I am so excited to be competing again, it's come around so quick and what I love is this pageant is full of diversity! It's going to be a day to remember!!!

Lots of love

Catwalk Countdown!!

(Bank Holiday Sash Pic!)

The countdown is on, the hotel and train have been booked and I am trying to salvage my wow wear into something presentable, it is of course the countdown to the Catwalk Perfect finals!! The Ms category has the most competition but I am loving how diverse we all are and my curvy sisters! The judges are going to have a hard time picking (but not a hard time hearing us!)! I've been super busy with work this month so trying to jam pack everything into my sequinned world but I have got a few things done, apart from just changing my hair colour once again!

First off, as well as pageant training Jade for the FOTG England finals (update she won top 3 and won her place, totally claiming that as a win for my training but also style outfits as both her dresses I sold her!!) I have been donating to my local homeless shelter. We started a homeless drive last November to get much needed items for the shelter around Christmas, and people still donated to myself so I thought a trip was needed!! There were warm clothes and lots of sanitary needs to help out the shelter, and I am very proud to say we will be repeating the homeless shelter drive again!

(my lovely Thank you Card)

As well as donating, I have also been very active on my social media! Since I was ill at bank holiday (and always working shock!) I did a different challenge to the ones that Catwalk set up (well done everyone by the way, amazing work!). I answered questions from my pageant page, celebrating curvy pageant girls, talking about appearance's and about the importance of mental health, especially as Suicide prevention day was around the corner.

(Collecting bras for a good cause!!!)
Also pageant girls inspire me every day, Miss Galaxy England posted about a great charity called Smalls for All, a charity which donates underwear to needing parts in Africa who are in desperate need of underclothing. Since I live in sports bras because of my job and I have a passion of hatred for bras (be free!!) I emptied my draw and sent off a lovely package!! if you would like to donate, search for them on facebook, online or send to the address in the photo!!

I have a couple more appearances lined up before the final, as well as finishing my appearance folder with those special touches. I've got tons of raffle prizes and also thinking of what I can do for the Ms girls on pageant day! For now, I have to close down the gym (extra workout with the weights people leave behind!)

Much love

Hannah
