First of all I attended Miss Swindon's charity Romeo and Juliet themed ball at the MECA which was amazing! The acts were fab and there was lots of room for dancing and a chance to meet up with old friends like Emily who took my Miss Swindon Galaxy title in 2011.

As well as making appearances, I am busy organising a fab event which will happen on the 11th of May at Kiss Gyms, my fab sponsors who have agreed to sponsor me again for the Miss England pageant which I am very excited to compete in again as it's my last year I can enter (they should higher the age limit!). We are holding a Zumbathon which will go on for three HOURS! I love Zumba and the classes are so popular that within the booking form being put online, it's booked within the hour!! It's taught by the talented Alex Doughty who knows how to work those Zumba moves! It's £7 per person, or something different to have a tag team (max of 5) for £5 each. this means if you cant handle the whole three hours, you can still enjoy the Zumba and tag your next team mate when you've had enough or need a break! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone in their Zumba attire and sweating for a good cause!

I have also been busy making my eco dress for the finals, this outfit I have made out of books as I love reading and learning! Miss Wiltshire Galaxy said as a joke I should make an outfit out of all my books (I love reading and collect my fav authors, having over 200 odd books taking up my bedroom) and I actually thought that was a great idea! I have the top, skirt, shoes and hat! This was made from old clothes and two books! Then since my fab sponsors sponsored me again, I updated it a little to include Kiss Gyms, to combine my love of reading and fitness! This is fitting as I have just started my training to become a personal gym and hope to be working at Kiss, which they will LOVE ;)

Which brings me to Kiss Gyms itself. If you drive past you will now see my lovely face along with Miss Wiltshire Galaxy and Miss Swindon. It's such a fab image, taken on a spur of the moment after all the serious photos and I am so proud to be on the front as it sums up my journey from last year.

From handing over the title and competing in the semi finals of Miss England last June and having a personal life crisis, pageants helped me to see that there are more dreams that we can work to, and that no matter how bad your life is then, there will be better days. I never gave up the pageant dream and was awarded the England's Perfect Miss 2012 title, met more pageant best friends and gained my fitness and confidence. Just because I do't have a title at the moment and will be referred to as "former", doesn't mean I won't work harder for the next chance to represent my county and achieve those dreams!
